Theology Class Visit

On Monday, December 12, Loyola’s senior theology classes welcomed Jesuit Father Daniel O’Hare, PhD, a noted ethics professor and expert in the morality of death and dying. Dr. O’Hare talked to the seniors about the ethical issues surrounding controversial topics like euthanasia and palliative care. He shared his decades of experience with the students, discussing personal events that had informed his own views on the state of death in an increasingly advanced healthcare industry. He fielded questions from the seniors, who will continue to discuss these crucial issues in their Death and Dying electives.
