      Application Information

      The application for the 2027-2028 school year will open on Monday, August 17th however, we are still accepting applications for the Classes of 2030 and 2029 for the 2026-2027 school year. To learn more about our application process, please click one of the links below.

      Admissions Events

      Open Houses: Join us this October to experience all that Loyola School has to offer! Our Fall Open Houses provide students and families in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade with the opportunity to explore our campus, meet our faculty, students, and administrators, and learn more about our rigorous academics, vibrant student life, and Jesuit mission. We will host two Open Houses on Thursday, October 8th and Wednesday, October 21st.

      Registration for our Open Houses will open in August.

      Shadow Days:
      Loyola School welcomes Early Decision and Legacy applicants to participate in a Shadow Day between October 2026 and January 2027. To schedule a visit, please email the Admissions Office at admissions@loyolanyc.org after submitting Part 1 of your application. 

      Applicants applying Regular Decision will have the opportunity to schedule a Shadow Day beginning in January 2027

      HSPT: Loyola School will host the High School Placement Test (HSPT) on Saturday, November 21 and Saturday, December 12 for students applying to the Class of 2031. Students applying Early Decision must take the HSPT on November 21 and may not sit for the exam on December 12.

      Students are not required to take the HSPT at Loyola School. Loyola will accept HSPT results from other Jesuit Schools in the New York City area. Students who wish to register for the HSPT at Loyola must submit Part 1 of the application prior to testing.

      Loyola also accepts the ISEE and SSAT as part of the admissions process. These exams are not administered at Loyola and must be scheduled independently through the respective testing organizations.
