Admissions Events

Open Houses: Join us this October to experience all that Loyola School has to offer! Our Fall Open Houses provide students and families in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade with the opportunity to explore our campus, meet our faculty, students, and administrators, and learn more about our rigorous academics, vibrant student life, and Jesuit mission. We will host two Open Houses on Thursday, October 8th and Wednesday, October 21st. To register, click on the links below!

Shadow Days: Loyola School welcomes Early Decision and Legacy applicants to participate in a Shadow Day between October 2026 and January 2027. To schedule a visit, please email the Admissions Office at admissions@loyolanyc.org after submitting Part 1 of your application.

Applicants applying Regular Decision will have the opportunity to schedule a Shadow Day beginning in January 2027.

HSPT: Loyola School will host the High School Placement Test (HSPT) on Saturday, November 21 and Saturday, December 12 for students applying to the Class of 2031. Students applying Early Decision must take the HSPT on November 21 and may not sit for the exam on December 12. Students are not required to take the HSPT at Loyola School.

To begin your application for Loyola School’s Class of 2030, submit Part 1 in your Finalsite Enrollment Account.

Transfer Students: Loyola School is no longer accepting transfer applications for the Class of 2030, 2028, or 2027 for the 2026–2027 school year.

If you are interested in transferring into the Class of 2029, or if you would like to learn more about joining the Loyola School community for the 2027–2028 school year, please contact our Director of Admissions, Ms. Julia Dolan, at jdolan@loyolanyc.org.
